The week before Pride visit the week-long queer arts festival in the heart of the Castro, Faetopia.
Enter a magical sanctuary of radical queer community in the heart of Pride. Faerie Freedom Village is an explosion of creativity and glitter as some of the Bay’s most talented avant-garde artists, performers and shamans gather together to celebrate radical self-expression and community.
Come with the intention for connection as you travel through our glitter gateway into a park-like festival of fabulosity. In our commercial-free zone you will experience live cabaret, performance art on and off stage, delicious dance tunes, stunning visual art, magic and rituals, transformations and transcendence.
Faerie Freedom Village is a gifting economy, you are encouraged to bring art, drums, drag and inspiration for sharing. For over two decades, the Radical Faeries have co-created this oasis of spirituality, art, music and love; come share it with us.
